This research is being embodied in transit. A movement of words, amid instability, between fear and desire. I surrender to the flow of electric currents that inhabit me—coughing, feeling tension in my left hip, itching from mosquitoes. Processing my grandmothers. Being erratic, with my jaw vibrating.

TUKUY / weaving in Kichwa / is a research project that speculates on connective tissues—“fasciae”—as a living map of identity processes.

In its first approach to a collective gathering, it opens a performance-therapy device in progress, inviting us to reactivate the narratives that inhabit our cells through movement speculation and the juxtaposition of memory and physiology.

*Pictures are from TUKUY _performance at La Parcería on Feb 2025 (Madrid) & Past research done in 2021 with artist Margarita González, where "tukuy" operated as a one-time, performed-installation that intended to weave the inside with the outside: walking people with walls, hands to chairs, ears with sealling, as an embodied connection experience of memory, identity and territory. Presented in Expo Resistencia, en la Vitrina de la Casa de la Cultura NA (Ecuador).
